Every fall, our team at Red Hound Farms is thrilled to give our visitors the best possible pumpkin patch experience. In our experience, many people think of pumpkin patches as a place to pick out pumpkins for Halloween, and possibly a place to take cute photos of their kids, but that’s about it. At our pumpkin patch, however, there are a number of great activities to try, and we encourage you to make a day of it. In this article, we will go over three of our most popular activities in order to convince you to pay us a visit.
- Going on Hayrides. One of our most popular pumpkin patch activities is our hayrides. You will get to ride in a wagon hitched to one of our tractors, sitting back on comfortable hay bales and taking in the scenery as we give you a tour of our farm.
- Petting Farm Animals. Another activity you and your family can enjoy when you visit our pumpkin patch is petting our farm animals. We raise a variety of animals here, including cows, horses, goats, alpacas, chickens, geese, turkeys, and even cats and dogs, and we know that you and your kids will enjoy getting to interact with them.
- Entering the Corn Maze. A third pumpkin patch activity you can enjoy on our farm is our annual corn maze. You and your family will have a great time entering the maze and trying to navigate your way out of it–it’s more challenging than it looks, but our guests always have a great time.
